Short answer: There's no way to strip access to just one section; to fully revoke a teammate's access, remove them from the organisation and re-invite them if they still need other sections.
How do I remove someone's access when they are done?
Once a teammate has finished the section (or sections) you handed them, you might want to take their access back. At the moment, the portal doesn't offer a "un-delegate this one section" action. Delegating a section grants view and write access, and there's no separate control that revokes it while leaving the person otherwise in place.
The confirmed way to remove a specific person's access is to remove them from the organisation entirely, from your organisation's member management area (outside the onboarding portal itself).
Open your organisation's member management area.
Find the teammate's row.
Remove them from the organisation.
Removing someone this way takes back everything they could see and edit, not just the section you originally handed them. If they still need access to other sections, invite them again afterwards. See Inviting your team to help for how to send a fresh invite.
Warning: Removing a teammate is all-or-nothing. It isn't possible to leave them in the organisation while quietly taking back just one section.
Note: Re-sending an invite that covers a different set of sections to someone who's already active can overwrite the sections they were previously granted. Check what you're handing over each time you re-invite.
Tip: The "assigned to" label on a section's dashboard row is only a temporary, on-screen detail. It doesn't reflect who actually still has access, so don't rely on it to work out whose access needs removing; check your organisation's member management area instead.
Any progress your teammate already saved stays in place after you remove them. Removing access only changes who can see and edit the section going forward, not the work that's already been recorded.
