Finding and completing the sections assigned to you

How to see which sections are yours and complete your part.

Short answer: Your sections are the ones marked open on your dashboard (everything else shows as locked), and you can complete them whenever suits you; there's no requirement to finish before the owner does.


Which sections are mine?

When you sign in, the dashboard shows all nine onboarding sections, because everyone on the team can see the status and completion percentage of every section. That doesn't mean you can open all of them.

Only the sections your firm's owner has shared with you are unlocked. The rest show a lock with a chip like "Never shared" or "Only you", meaning that section belongs to the owner and can't be opened by anyone else. Two sections, Financials and Vision & Leadership, can never be shared with a teammate; they're always owner-only.

To find your work:

  1. Open the portal dashboard.

  2. Look for the sections without a lock icon, these are the ones you've been given.

  3. Click into any of them to start filling in the fields.

Tip: If a section you expect to see is missing or still locked, ask the owner to share it with you from their delegate panel. There's no way to request access yourself from inside the portal.

Do I need to finish before my boss does?

No. There's no deadline or sequencing that ties your progress to the owner's, or to any other teammate's. Each section tracks its own completion independently, and everyone works at their own pace.

Everything you enter saves automatically as you go, so there's no submit step to race toward. Just work through your open sections when you have the information to hand.

Note: Some sections build on others (for example, Client Journey draws on Team and Systems data). If a section you need feels incomplete elsewhere, it's worth checking with the owner rather than guessing at the missing details.
