Tracking what's left and what "complete" means

How to see what is still to do and what makes a section complete.

Written by Tim Lea

Short answer: Every member sees the status and completion percentage of all nine sections on the dashboard, and you can leave a section partway through and come back whenever you like.

How to see what is left

Open the portal dashboard. Every one of the nine sections shows a status and a completion percentage, and this is true for every member of the firm, not just the owner. Even sections you cannot open yourself show their status with a CONFIDENTIAL chip, so you know they exist and roughly where they stand, without being able to see the content.

Note: Only the sections you have been given access to can be opened and edited. The rest are visible as locked rows on the dashboard.

Can I skip and come back?

Yes. Everything you enter autosaves as you go, so there is no need to finish a section in one sitting. Close it, work on something else, and return later; your progress is exactly where you left it.

Do I have to fill every field?

It depends on the section type:

  • Answer-only sections (Financials, Team Development, Optics & Finance, Vision & Leadership) reach 100% once every field is filled in.

  • Collection sections (Products, Systems & Tech, Client Journey, Team Rhythm, Your Team) work differently. Adding rows and details can only take the completion percentage up to 90%. To show as Complete, you need to use the explicit "mark done" action, which sets it to 100%.

Tip: If a collection section is stuck at 90% and you are confident it's finished, look for the "mark done" action rather than adding more rows.

Can I edit after marking done?

Yes. Marking a section done does not lock it. You can go back in and change details afterwards; the section simply reflects whatever state it's actually in.
